     Louise is a survivor of pancreatic cancer!  I had a pain in my chest in August 2016 right before my 57th birthday.  I have always been healthy and on no medications so I spoke to my Dr. about it at my annual physical the next week.  She was wonderful and jumped right on it.  From there an ultrasound, then a cat scan, then a trip to the oncologist, then chemo, then surgery (they took 80% of my pancreas and all of my gall bladder), then more chemo and radiation until the end of May 2017 to be super aggressive.  I am so blessed to be one of the ones who had symptoms!  I know that is not the case in many instances!  It is now April 2024 and I have been cancer free for over 8 years!.
