​​​​​Jensen has been sponsoring and participating in the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network’s PurpleStride event since 2016 and we are happy to announce that we will continue the tradition in honor of Mike Roland again this year.

Mike was a beloved member of the Jensen community. He was a trader here for many years (2005 – 2015) and was diagnosed with cancer while at Jensen. For a time, it seemed as though his cancer was in remission, but sadly, the cancer returned and he succumbed to the disease in January of 2015.

It was a difficult time for the Jensen community and each year we participate in the PurpleStride in his honor.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
