Join Trava Team Rob to support our own Rob Beeler, a 4 year pancreatic cancer survivor! 

He lost his sister Jenelle to pancreatic cancer in 2016 so when he received his diagnosis he said he was obviously really worried. Luckily., the science had advanced and Rob was eligible for immunotherapy based on the makeup of his tumor. After 8 rounds of chemo, a week of radiation, and two rounds of immunotherapy, he had a successful Whipple procedure at Dana Farber in Boston in July of 2019. Rob is convinced that the immunotherapy was the game changer. 

He said he feels so grateful for all the research that has gone into this disease, and just wish it had been available for his sister. This inspires him to fight this disease with PanCAN, hoping one day we can prevent it from affecting more lives. 

Rob is currently a PurpleStride co-chair along with his wife, Colleen.
