This nasty disease has taken so many of my sweet family members. My mom was also diagnosed with PC but she made it through chemo and surgery.  I am currently in a high risk study at MD Anderson because I have 2 cyst on my pancreas. My dad was diagnosed Sept 9, 2023 and passed on 12/02/23 from this monster as well. By the time his was found the mass was already 5 CM... and had spread to his Liver and lungs...Other family members are now starting testing as well. I want to make a difference if nothing else obtain all the information that I can get my hands on.

My team and I are taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Highland Road Park in Baton Rouge.

We want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need your help to do that!

PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.
