Hello all thank you so much for joining me in our fight to raise funds and awareness for this horrible disease. 

I started this team in honor of my dad Chris after his diagnosis October 2020 who lost his battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer after a courageous 9 month battle on July 3, 2021. Not long following Chris, his father Charlie passed away on January 4, 2022 from metastatic pancreatic cancer. To say the least, it's been a lot of heartache recently, yet an eye opening experience. My dad Chris was so proud of this team for raising over $10,000  during his battle in his honor and he participated in the event from down at his home in South Carolina. Through chemo and sickness, he completed a 5k in better time than most of us healthy participants, although it was no a surprise as dad was a fitness and outdoor enthusiast and always loved a challenge! While we will have two less loved ones here, we have gained two angels who I know would want us to continue to fundraise and fight for awareness. PanCan Network helps support and provide numerous resources for patients, caregivers and family members through this difficult time as well as contributing and advocating for increased research in the field. Our family utilized many resources from PanCan and are grateful for their programs.
