As a proud supporter of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN), I am participating in PanCAN PurpleStride to honor my late mother, Najwa.

My mother fought very hard to be with her kids and to see her grandkids. She was very loving and supportive. She was very creative, created flowers for any simple thing to weddings, banquets, etc. Najwa was very simple yet classy and one of the most sweetest people around. 

The need is as urgent as ever to continue the fight in honor of my mom and pancreatic cancer patients everywhere. This disease continues to affect tens of thousands of patients and their families every day.
