Location: MAGNUSON PARK-HANGAR 30

Purple stride is back, and in person in Seattle! We had so much incredible support last year and made an incredible impact to help those affected by pancreatic cancer. Lets make another run at raising funds to give patients and their families a valuable support network and help fund research and trials to find a cure for pancreatic cancer.

Debbie was very big into philanthropic efforts, always helping those in need with her caring heart. Lets pool together and make her proud! Her spirit was with us last year when we raised over $14,300 !

Hope to see some of you at the in person event, those that raise over $50 get a t-shirt, and over $1000 get in the grand club and get an exclusive gift! As an added bonus I will make a custom made gift for induvial that raise over $1,500!

Thank you so much for your support,

TEAM DEBBIE

Amazing job everyone for drumming up support and nearly doubling our initial goal as a team and in second place!! Above is a link to some information that Purple Stride has released about the event day on Sunday and our team Facebook event . There a few details that they are working out still such as the shirts and the event agenda. Information should be updated on that link. Many family members and friends are doing walks in small groups safely and finding creative ideas to honor my mom, such as challenges, or sharing memories, and wearing purple while supporting the pancreatic cancer action network. If you have any questions feel free to leave reach out to one of my siblings or me. Thank you all for your generosity and support for a good cause, Debbie would be proud!

Join us in honoring our loved one Deborah Barrow-Daumen (Debbie) who passed away after a tough but relentless battle for over a year after being diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer. The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network offered her support and guidance and is a cause that she felt strongly about supporting.

For those that didn't know Debbie as closely, she was very caring to others and touched the lives of many. Even during the challenge of having a large family to take care of she always found a way to give to the community and grow community events into something spectacular. She was always there to serve and support those in need without asking for anything in return.

Let’s come together to practice the amazing qualities we learned from Debbie in this 5K virtual event or just to support the cause, as a starter for honoring her name in many ways to come, carrying forward the love and kindness Debbie had for others.

More details for the virtual walk and meetup will follow.
