We are blown away by how our community has shown up for us time and time again during our cancer journey. For all of the trials we faced while battling this disease, there was so much beauty in how our friends and family carried us through the unimaginable.
Our mother's unwavering positivity and strength inspired all who knew her, and her tremendous kindness and generosity touched the lives of countless people. Thank you for helping us to continue her legacy of charity and helping others.
PanCAN is the largest pancreatic cancer advocacy organization in the country, funding life-changing research and providing resources for families like ours who have had to face this horrible diagnosis. Pancreatic cancer has the highest mortality rate of all major cancers, with a 5-year relative survival rate of 13%. Our hope is that with continued funding via events like PurpleStride, we can slowly work towards increasing that percentage.

About PanCAN PurpleStride
Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.
On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
