Hello Friends,

We are reaching out because it is again time to continue the fight to end pancreatic cancer.  This year we have changed the name of the team from Team Johnny to Team JP Strong because of the amazing example Johnny Pino set for us all as he fought his battle with pancreatic cancer to the very end.  Not a day goes by that we don't miss the husband, father, friend, brother, tio, and fine example of a gentleman and kind soul that he was.  Team JP Strong is again asking for your support.

We are happy to announce that this year we will be getting as many of you together to join us at the PanCAN PurpleStride event in Phoenix on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Salt River Fields.   PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN.org raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.  This year there will be 60 simultaneous events across America with a goal to raise $19 Million!

Here’s where you come in! We’ve set a fundraising goal this year of $3000 and we know we can beat that – because the more money we raise, the bigger impact we make!  The JP Strong team would appreciate a gift of any size to help us get there.  It could be $6 to recognize that 6 years ago we lost Johnny Pino, or $65 as he would be 65 years old now, or how about $110 to recognize the 110% that Johnny always gave to making his family and friends feel special.  

Can we count on you to get us one step closer to the day where pancreatic cancer patients don’t just survive but thrive?  Help us fight this terrible disease so no more individuals and families have to experience the heartbreak and loss that so many do every year.  Patients and families need us now more than ever.
