Hello!

My team and I are taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

We want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need your help to do that!

As you know, my beloved​, brilliant husband, Dr. Babatunde Ogunnaike, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in late August of 2021 and passed away a mere six months later in February of 2022.  He received the best possible care at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center; however, as is often the case, his cancer was not diagnosed until it has metastasized and become resistant to treatment.  ​

My team and I will also walk this year to honor other friends and family members who have been affected by pancreatic cancer including Dr. Yetunde Taiwo, Mrs. Joanne Flanagan, and Mr. Bill Fairl.

PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.

Here’s where you come in! We’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal--$2,000--because the more money we raise, the bigger impact we make – and would appreciate a gift of any size to help us get there.
