When Mike was diagnosed with Stage III, pancreatic cancer, he met the challenge head on with his usual dignity and determination. 

After participating in the NEPA PurpleStride in 2018, Mike was filled with gratitude for the efforts of the many participants and donors who raised funds for research and patient support.  He came away enthusiastic about participating again and having his own team... Purple Storm.

Although Mike lost his battle on March 10, 2019, Purple Storm has continued his fight.  Thanks to the generous contributions from family, friends, and colleagues, in the past 5 years Purple Storm has raised more than $18,000!

It's an amazing event that honors those we have lost and celebrates the survivors who are continuing with their fight!
