Lenee passed away on Feb 9th, 2024 after an 18 month battle with Pancreatic Cancer.  She participated in the Portland Purple Stride 5K last year and walked with a group of 40 friends and family to raise money to fight Pancreatic Cancer.

She had planned to walk in the 2024 event and each one after that.  Before she passed she had asked that if friends wanted to show their support and love, rather than sending flowers they consider joining her Purple Stride team.  You can either show support by donating toward the goal of fighting pancreatic cancer and/or joining her team for the walk on Saturday April 27th, 2024.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
