Welcome to our team fundraising page!

Team Val was our prior name -- in memory of my soulmate and wife gone too soon. Val will be remembered for her determination, her artwork, and her leadership at Metropolitan Museum and in the international Museum stores association. Her silversmithing skills are evident throughout West End Synagogue with the many religious objects that she created. But most of all I remember Val for her love, her humor and for coming into my life!

Jane has been added to commemorate Jane Weprin Menzi's short but brave battle with Pancreatic Cancer that ended in September. of 2021. Importantly, we remember and honor the truly immense contributions Jane made as the matriarch and leader of West End Synagogue -- twice its President, and always calm, focused and caring supporter of the Community, and of all who knew her. She was also a special friend of Val’s (and then the both of us) and a very big part of our wedding.

David is currently in treatment and joined our team following his diagnosis of Pancreatic cancer almost 18 months ago. David also is a huge supporter of the West End Synagogue Community, having just completed 2 years as its  President He knew and admired Valerie and Jane, and is a friend to me.

This year we will. also, be thinking about Joanne Feltman's brother George

By making a donation to Team Val/Jane/David, you are supporting research to diagnose and improve patient care and achieve better pancreatic cancer outcomes. We welcome any donation to help our team reach its fundraising goal. Please give whatever you feel you can afford.

Thank you all in advance. (Even if you can't donate, please help by sharing this with others).
