Hello all!

We are participating in the Purple Stride Walk in April to honor our dad, Joe Montez who was the rock of our family and taken way too soon at the age of 62. 

We lost our beloved dad to this "silent killer" deadly cancer after only three short months. He was diagnosed in May 2018 and after a short hard fight passed in August 2018.

This walk is extremely close to our hearts and we would like to raise money for research to find a cure so that no other family will have to go through the devastation of losing a loved one to this "silent killer."

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
