Sylvia reached the milestone of being a 27 year 9 mo pancreatic cancer survivor. Our dream is that survival and longevity become the expectation for all pancreatic cancer patients but sadly the 5-year survival rate is currently only 13%. We formed a team to help support research, hoping for advancement in early detection. Our team also honors the memory of Sylvia's brother Aldon who passed shortly after diagnosis and her cousin Marge who passed after a remission during her first year battle with pancreatic cancer. This deadly disease has taken too many loved ones.
