Another milestone - Pancreatic Cancer took my mom, Kittie Wack, 10 years ago this coming August.

This is Team GKittie 11th year participating. Mom passed in August 2014. Having been diagnosed in April 2012, right before this picture was taken. I look at this picture almost every day. I see her smiling at me and a little twinkle in her eyes. Kittie fought this cancer for over 2 years.

Kittie was an avid walker and runner. She ran & walked throughout her life from 5ks to marathons. Prior to diagnosis, she was walking a half marathon each month! 5k is just 3 short miles among family and friends celebrating their loved ones and showcasing their purple.

Team GKittie is raising money in honor of Kittie and many other family and friends who have been affected by Pancreatic Cancer. Each year I see small progress as this horrible disease's 5-year survival rate is a whopping 13%. That's another 1% from last year but it's doubled since Kittie was diagnosed.

So I continue to ask for your support by donating or joining our team to grow that number and help those battling today and in the future. We walk on April 27, in SF at the Marina Green. Thank you for helping us honor Kittie!
