Thank you for joining our team to raise awareness to pancreatic cancer and money for research. Although I am the captain of this team and a survivor, many of the team members have lost loved ones to pancreatic cancer.  We hope you will join our team and remember those we have lost with a donation.

Thanks in part to PurpleStride donations, the 5 year survival rate has risen from 5%, when I was diagnosed in April of 2011, to the current rate of 11%.  It is only through research that this has been possible. As wonderful as this increase is, we cannot let up now. The incidence of this disease is on the rise so even with this increase in survival rate, the number of those who will die from pancreatic cancer is going up.
