Welcome to Our PanCAN PurpleStride TEAM FUHSER Fundraising Page in honor of Mike Fuhs!

Mike was first diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2017 and miraculously went into remission in May of 2018, being told that the cancer would eventually come back. 4 years later in May of 2022, Mike found out his cancer was back, but he wasn't yet ready to give up. With the support of a massive group of family, friends, and doctors, Mike fought like hell for 4 more months.

Despite how hard he fought, Mike's cancer was unrelenting and eventually took him away from us at just 62 years old on September 17th, 2022. 

Mike's all-time favorite things were Top Gun, bike rides, a cold pepsi, a joy ride in his red Jeep Wrangler, and spending an evening watching his kids play soccer. He was a generous father, brother, uncle, and friend that loved to make you laugh.

We want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need your help to do that!

Last year, TEAM FUHSER raised $5,001.60 for the 2023 Minnesota PurpleStride.

On April 27, 2024, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will take steps together at nearly 60 PurpleStride events across the nation to honor everyone affected by the disease. It’s an inspirational day to celebrate survivors and honor those we've lost, including Mike.

TEAM FUHSER is comprised of anyone that knew and loved Mike, raising money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.
