My Dad was diagnosed with stage 3 locally advanced pancreatic cancer Novemeber 2015 without any early stage or onset warnings. With absolutely no hope of the whipple surgery his only chance to prolong life was though chemotherapy. The grueling months of chemo allowed him to live for 18 months. May 2016 is when his body finally told him he had enough and was placed on hospice for 3 weeks and He passed away May 22, 2016 and the day I will always replay in my head. You may not know anyone who has pancreatic cancer but at one point neither did my family and I. My Dad and My hero will be forever loved and always missed. The survival rates are low and we want to give hope to other families who are going through what we went.
