Hey, there everyone!

My team and I (which happens to be me and my lovely fiancé Ginny) are taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 29, 2023. I’m pulling myself away from my pool and heading up to Tampa to participate in this walk to raise money to find an end to pancreatic cancer. I lost my brother October 8, 2022 to this hideous disease. I don’t want anyone else to go through what he went through fighting this disease, and what we all went through losing such a good man at such an early age.

We want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need your help to do that!

PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN, which happens to be the pancreatic cancer action network, raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.

Here’s where you come in! We’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal – because the more money we raise, the bigger impact we make – and would appreciate a gift of any size to help us get there. 

Any gift of any size is greatly appreciated. If you’d like some ideas, you could donate $4 for the day of the month TJ was born or $94 for the month and day. Maybe $16 which was his baseball number in high school. Another idea is $22 for the year in which he passed away. $56 for the year in which he was born or, if you’re feeling really ambitious and generous, you can mark the entire year he was born or the entire year. passed away by donating $1956 or $2022. I know that is a lot of money and I wouldn’t expect anyone to do it but I thought I would just throw it out there in case somebody was feeling really generous or maybe just hit the lottery. Truly, any amount is appreciated and could lead to a treatment that helps someone fighting this disease.

If you knew my brother, you know he was a person that would do anything to help anyone. He did that for people, and never expected anything in return from them. In his honor, I hope you can help fight this disease the way he would. Can we count on you to get us one step closer to the day where pancreatic cancer patients don’t just survive but thrive?

Patients and families need us now more than ever. I know this because I am one of those families now after losing TJ. I truly wish there had been better treatments that could’ve helped him beat this disease and go back to living his normal life, loving his wife, his kids, and getting more time with his grandchildren.
