Julie’s Story:

In mid 2022 Julie found a lump in her abdomen. Already being a 2x cancer survivor, she feared her lymphoma had returned. By the time her doctors had arrived at a diagnosis the lump had grown rapidly and become painful. The conclusion was stage 4 pancreatic cancer located in the tail of the pancreas and throughout the abdomen. Not operable, radiation was tried with no change to the tumors. She did countless rounds and types of chemo, to no avail. Nothing slowed it down and nothing was going to stop it. Her family spent every spare minute with her. They went on road trips, had game nights, family cookouts, events, concerts, movies, laughter, and so much love. But the clock doesn't stop ticking and time is something there is never enough of. Julie earned her wings in August 2023.
