Welcome to our team fundraising page!

Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 13%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination. 

Jim started our team, now named Jim's Guts & Glory, over 8 years ago, after beginning his battle against pancreatic cancer. It was a long, tough road, and he rose to many challenges along the way. He fought for himself, and, through countless hours of volunteering and advocacy, he fought for others. Jim died on December 22, 2018, and we are carrying on his commitment to supporting the work of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
