Welcome to our team fundraising page!

Hi Everyone!

As some of you may know, I have lost my mom due to pancreatic cancer in January 2022. Our family received news about her diagnosis unexpectedly as she was fairly healthy.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the most lethal cancers in the United States. WIth a 5 year survival rate of 12%.

Most patients with pancreatic cancer discover they have cancer too late, making them ineligible for a surgical resection. Additionally, with how relentless pancreatic cancer is there are limited treatment options.

I have been a part of my mom's journey with pancreatic cancer since the day of her diagnosis. Even after her getting 13 rounds of chemotherapy, receiving devastating news of her ineligibility for the whipple surgery, and her participating in a clinical trial, she unfortunately lost her battle to pancreatic cancer.

In memory of my mom, I will be walking in the PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 27, 2024 in hopes to raise funds for vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients or even a cure.

Last year I was absolutely blown away with the outstanding support and donations from my peers, raising $3,410.77 for the PanCAN PurpleStride! That kind of support and walking along side hundreds of individuals supporting this wonderful cause will be a memory I cherish forever.

I hope that you can take the time to donate this year to help me surpass last year's donations!

Thanks for your support!
