Pancreatic cancer became an unwelcome part of my family's life on March 13, 2016; the day I watched my dad begin fighting the toughest fight of his life. Carl's Crusaders started particpating in PurpleStride in August 2016, 4 months after this horrific disease stole my dad from us. Pancreatic cancer does not stop or slow down, and neither do we! I have watched the 5 year survival rate increase from the mere 4% in 2016 to 13% today.
