Todd Espeland was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer on May 12, 2016. Like many PC patients he had very few symptoms. He fought this disease with all his heart but sadly lost his battle on November 30, 2016 at the age of 39. Todd was an amazing husband, son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend. He was lost way too soon. Let’s keep his memory alive and honor him by supporting pancreatic cancer research.

  • 5-year survival rate is just 12%
  • There are no early detection methods
  • There are few effective treatment options for patients with stage III or IV pancreatic cancer

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
