Let’s Go!

This “rare” disease has touched too many of our loved ones and we are fighting to CRUSH PANCREATIC CANCER!!

This year we stride for our mom Mary Tahan, a 7 year stage 4 pancreatic cancer survivor and our cousin Emil Garlewicz, who has shown such strength and determination to CRUSH this disease. 

We are thankful and say a special prayer for the hands, minds and hearts of every doctor, nurse and caretaker - for every scientist who is out there working tirelessly to give more hope and better treatments for this disease, and for organizations like PanCan who help support these efforts and guide patients through this overwhelming diagnosis.
We also want to fight in memory of those who we have lost and who are so sorely missed. Our Dear Aunt Marie (Farraye), our neighbor and friend Jean Czerniecki, our family friend Gregory Berezovsky and our cherished childhood friend Susan (Ersalesi) Mautone- lost much too suddenly and much too soon. Each of them hold a special place in our hearts and their memories will be in our hearts and minds forever.

Our team wants to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need you to do it!

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.
