The docs and nurses called Tom "Miracle Man"and"Outlier" - Tom was all that and we were so blessed to have him with us for 8 miracle years!  Unfortunately, Tom lost his battle that he fought so valiantly for 8 years on September 30, 2018, just 1 week after Purple Stride 2018.  He is missed by all those who loved him, and we continue to stride in his memory.

We are also striding for our friends, Bob Pals, Kevin Kaiser, Diane Wise, and others who have lost the battle.  

Our team is raising money in support of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network by participating in PurpleStride.  All of the treatments Tom used throughout his 8-year battle were made available through the efforts of ongoing research, and we want to help continue the research so that it becomes common for Pancreatic Cancer patients to survive and thrive!
