Hi Everyone!

We would love it if you could join us Saturday, April 27th, 2024 for the Charlotte Purple Stride 5k to benefit Pancreatic Cancer research!  Background: I sponsor a team for the Purple Stride each year in honor of my Mom, Mary Gardner, who lost her battle with PanCan in 2016 at age 64.  

Pancreatic cancer has one of the worst survival rates of all cancers at 12% over 5 years.  That number is up from 5% over 5 years when Mom was diagnosed, but there's still a ton of wood to chop.  All the money we raise together goes to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network to research a cure for this awful disease. 

The 5k run/walk will start at Romare Bearden Park in Uptown again this year.  Let's plan on meeting up by 8am ahead of the 8:30 start.
