Welcome to our team fundraising page!

Welcome to Our PanCAN PurpleStride Page for Team Doug!

On December 2, 2022, we lost one of the greatest, my dad Doug, to pancreatic cancer.  We were devastated when he passed away less than 4 months after his diagnosis.  We all miss him so much everyday.

The PanCAN PurpleStride event seemed like a great opportunity to gather with friends and family in Portland to honor and remember my dad.  Also, he did a lot of fun runs when we were growing up, so a walk seemed appropriate!

PanCAN PurpleStride is on Saturday, April 27 in Portland

PurpleStride events happen simultaneously all over the country, but Team Doug will be participating in the Portland event.  We will be raising money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients.

We would love for you to join Team Doug and walk with us!

You can register for PanCAN PurpleStride and join Team Doug by clicking Join This Team on this page.  It's free to register, but you can also choose to participate in creating a fundraising goal.  If you are not in the Portland area but would like to contribute to Team Doug, you can click Donate on this page.  A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

Once the event date approaches and we get a better idea of participation, we will reach out to the team members with more details (and hopefully a cool Team Doug t-shirt!).

We look forward to supporting pancreatic cancer research and walking in remembrance of my dad.
