Welcome to our team fundraising page!

Thank you for supporting our PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser! We are taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Will you support us through a donation and joining us on the walk?

Mike was diagnosed with a rare form of pancreatic cancer, a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor (PNET), just days before his 62nd birthday. Rare diseases are represented by zebras and Mike’s initials are MLB - hence the team name MLB Zebras.

Mike had a distal pancreatectomy at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston TX on January 11. Surgery went very well. Recovery is really tough but he is tougher! Every donation is so meaningful to us and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more. Here’s where you come in! We’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal and need your donations! A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

Want to help in a bigger way? Join us by registering for PurpleStride! Register for free, raise $50 and you’ll receive an official PanCAN PurpleStride 2024 T-shirt!

Let’s show everyone impacted by pancreatic cancer that we’re fighting for them.

We are grateful for your support!
