Our team is raising money in support of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network by participating in PurpleStride.  This will be Donna's Angels 13th year participating in honor and memory of our wonderful Donna!  

Donna impacted so many lives in such a positive way. Her loving and generous spirit is greatly missed by all those that knew her. Donna was a vibrant, healthy 60 year old when she was diagnosed in April 2012. She underwent radiation, chemo, and had the whipple procedure done August 2012. Her whipple was extensive, lasting 12 hours because the tumor was wrapped around her portal vein, but she had a very dedicated surgeon. She had stage 1B cancer and post surgery there was NEC. She was feeling relatively normal, but just a few short months later she wasn't feeling well and in February it was confirmed that her cancer came back. Eventually, it spread to her liver and lymph nodes despite her continued chemotherapy. Sadly, she passed away just 16 months after diagnosis. 

We continue to support the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network because our mom was a woman who always thought of others, often giving to charities and food for homeless people. Her giving nature was instilled in us and we will continue to fight!
