On Saturday, April 27, 2024. We are walking in honor of my Mother Fatima Elena Martinez. 

For those who didn't know my incredible mother. This is a little about her....

My Mom came to this country and not only made a life, a successful life. She fell in love had babies, she started a career, she made a life for herself to be proud of. 

She crushed so many barriers and made her mark in a white male dominanted corporate America. She traveled the world from Egypt to France to Russia and domestically. She owned enough animals to house a small zoo, she greeted everyone anywhere with a smile on her beautiful face. She was way more friendly than most of us! 

Throughout her life she had a way of making people feel safe and comfortable, special and loved.

My brother Sammy & I were her entire world, her siblings, nieces and nephews always felt loved by her, supported and accepted. Then her beautiful grandchildren came and she entered the grandmother world and it was there that her love & light reached a new level of brightness. How Lucky are they to have had her!? She's got an army of nieces and nephews who adore her, her adopted nieces, nephews, adopted grandchildren and even adopted family memebers into her beautiful life. Her door was always open and her heart pure. Someone we should all look at for inspiration. 

She prayed, she hoped, she nurtured, and she believed in us all.

My Mom loved all in different ways, ways I find hard to put into words. But If you knew her you know the feeling. 

She was funny, really funny. Sometimes she meant to be sometimes she didn't either way funny! There was always a smile on her face and you just automatically felt happy when with my Mom. 

She was so strong in her faith, she believed in good, she believed God wouldn't lead you if he couldn't see you through and she always tried to influence our family with her positivity, peace and guidance. 

Sammy & I will miss our sweet mother forever, it's so important to use our heartbreak for something positive and try to help other PanCan families. Please donate, please share and THANK YOU for your support!
