Welcome to Our PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page for Don "Hammer" Waters!
We’re taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 27, 2024.
In honor of my father, Donald "Hammer" Waters, I am supporting PanCAN's vision to create a world in which all patients with pancreatic cancer will survive.
I am hoping to spread awareness of Pancreatic Cancer for early detection. On November 1, 2023, my father was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer and passed away on December 6, 2023. I am hoping to honor his love by sharing his story to help find a cure, as well as help others to detect the disease earlier in the beginning stages. The money raised is used to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
