Welcome to Trudy’s Tribe!!!

Trudy's Tribe was founded in 2014 in honor of Trudy Andrews who so bravely fought pancreatic cancer. She was diagnosed in Jan 2014 and despite the (unprecedented) very early detection (stage 1), she lost her battle with this horrible disease just 9 short months later on October 22, 2014. She was a HERO in the fight against pancreatic cancer!

Through the years, we’ve lost other loved ones along the way, notably Rick Dreaver, Olwen Grabham, Doug Ingram and Margaret Maloney. We stride in honor of these amazing human beings and their courageous fights, as well as all the people around the world whose lives are impacted each day by pancreatic cancer.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
