Welcome to Pat's Party

We are back at it again this year hoping to make our efforts even bigger and better than last year(which were amazing thanks to all of the support from family and friends.)

If you knew Pat Sheerin, you know that she had a personality larger than life. She would have turned 75 last month.  Unfortunately, her time was cruelly cut short by a disease that knows no boundaries when it comes to age, race, religion, sex, general state of health or family history.  Of all major cancers, pancreatic has the absolute highest mortality rate.  The 5 year survival rate is a mere 12%.  Our mom had so much more living to do.  We are back this year with our fundraising efforts with the hopes of raising not only monetary funds for The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network but raising awareness as well for the need for more federally funded research.  No more families should have to lose someone the way we did. 

Please consider joining our team for the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the Heritage Trail right here in Scranton, PA.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

If you are not able to join us for the walk, please consider a small monetary donation towards this cause.  I can promise you this, no one will ever look back on their life and regret contributing to a cause with a life saving mission.  For us, it's personal!
