My wife of 36 years and best friend of 44 years lose her battle with a scary and complex disease “pancreatic cancer”, after almost 3 years of fighting to the end, with a strong desire to heightened awareness and improve the survival rate for all afflicted with this deadly disease.

When I tell Laura's story I’m still often asked if there’s anything someone can do, “WELL, THERE IS”, First Please understand my mind, heart, body, soul and sprit is in a state of shock and in pain, we can’t save Laura but maybe we can save you or someone you Love.

Let Me State Once Again - It’s estimated in 2024. over 55,440 Americans will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the U.S., and over 44,330 will die from pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer is the 2rd leading cause of cancer-related death in the United States surpassing breast cancer. It is expected to become the 2nd leading cause of cancer-related death in the US by the year 2024, surpassing colorectal cancer. Pancreatic cancer is one of the few cancers for which survival has not improved substantially over nearly 40 years. Pancreatic cancer has the highest mortality rate of all major cancers. 74% of all patients die within the first year of diagnosis. The 5-year relative survival rate for people diagnosed at all stages of this disease is 8%. However, the 5-year survival rate for people diagnosed at an earlier stage with local disease is 32%. Pancreatic cancer is a leading cause of cancer death largely because there are no detection tools to diagnose the disease in its early stages when surgical removal of the tumor is still possible.
