WE WILL TELL HER STORY

On, October 26, 2018, life as we knew it changed forever. On this day my mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. On, October 30, 2018 her inital biopsy was preformed and we were told that there was also some spots on her liver as well. Two weeks later she went for her inital appointment with the oncologist and was told that she was stage 4. A week later we were told that there was no option for surgery. On December 10, 2018 my mom started chemo and by January 3, 2019 her hair was completely gone. She had countless chemo side effects, multiple hospital stays, rough days, and some good days. On September 8, 2019 at 7:53am she took her last breath and got to take her final rest.

I say all that to say it took 317 days for pancreatic cancer to have a tremendous impact on my mother's life and my life as well. This doesn’t have to be everyone’s story!
