 Dear Friends and Family,

This year marks the 11th year that Team Poppy is supporting PurpleStride. Team Poppy honors my grandfather, Albert D. Maslia, who passed away in April of 2014, and raises money in support of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. With the support of so many, over the past 10 years, Team Poppy has raised over $100,000 towards the fight against pancreatic cancer, and we are already off to a great start for 2024. Thank you to those who have already supported us for 2024 and to those who have supported us over the past 10 years. 

For 2024, we have set a fundraising goal of $5,000. With everyone's help and support, we can continue to further the amazing strides already made in pancreatic cancer research. So, we hope you will consider helping our team reach our 2024 goal and walking with us on April 27th.

PurpleStride now has one national date where all US cities will walk together. This year's NYC Purple Stride walk will take place on Saturday, April 27th, 2024 at the Seaport District.

About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
