Welcome to the PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page in loving memory of Christine V. Banks!

Hello everyone,


We're back again for a 2nd year to help raise awareness & improve the lives of pancreatic cancer patients and their families by participating in PanCAN PurpleStride! PanCAN PurpleStride, a part of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, helps to raise funds for patients and their families, caregivers, and research efforts to help end this disease.


Our family participates in this event yearly to honor my mother, Christine V. Banks, who lost her battle with pancreatic cancer on April 17th, 2022, after a courageous three-year fight. My mother had a vibrant spirit and left a lasting legacy with all who knew her.


You can help us to reach our goal by either donating to our team or joining us as we walk in the PanCAN PurpleStride event on Saturday, April 27, 2024, in Raleigh, NC. Just click the Donate or Register button at the top of this page and follow a few easy steps to get set up. Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
