Welcome to our team fundraising page!

We are striding for everyone who has been affected by pancreatic cancer but also in loving memory of Ron Swietek. Ron was only 55. Like many individuals who are diagnosed with this disease, he was taken from us way too soon. This will be our 10th year striding as Captain Ron's Crew!

There will be 60 U.S. cities taking steps in the PanCAN PurpleStride event on the same day in April 2024! This means more awareness and more funds to keep PanCAN’s programs running so patients and families don’t have to navigate pancreatic cancer alone.

The PurpleStride event is FREE to register! Everyone who registers and raises $50 or more will receive an official PurpleStride 2024 t-shirt. Everyone who raises $1,000 or more will become a member of the Grand Club and will receive exclusive Grand Club gear! 

Let’s take the steps together in the fight to end Pancreatic Cancer! We would love to see you on April 27th for the San Diego PurpleStride!

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
