We are walking in honor of a beloved husband and father, Dan Martin. 

Dan was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer in March 2022, and lost his battle just 8 months later on November 17, 2022. Genuine, intelligent, tough, brave, hard-working, and creative, just a few of the words that come to mind when we remember Dan . He was the family handyman, decorator, mechanic, builder of all things, professional navigator. Day or night, whatever the reason, you could call on him for help. We have always admired the strong man that he was, but we were especially proud of the fight that he put up to Pancreatic Cancer. 

Although Dan is no longer here to fight, we will continue fighting for him, honoring his battle and the battle that so many others are forced to face- by participating in PurpleStride.
