Welcome to Our PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page!

Our team wants to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and are asking for your help to do it!

We’re taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 27, 2024.  This event is taking place on the same day in 60 cities around the country.  This year, the Michigan event will be in Troy.  

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

Here’s where you come in! 

We’ve set a fundraising goal – because the more money we raise, the bigger impact we make – and would be profoundly grateful for your donation. A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

As our Team Leader, I personally lost two close friends to pancreatic cancer within 3 months:  Suzi Harris in November 2023 and Lois Herline in January 2024.   You may also have had your life affected in some way by this disease.  Organizing this team event is my husband, Edward, and my way of honoring the memory of Lois and Suzi.
