Nearly 15 years ago, I lost my father to pancreatic cancer... just 17 days after diagnosis.  Since then I have lost dear friends to this insidious disease and know of too many others who are fighting it.    PLEASE JOIN ME for this year's NATIONAL PURPLE STRIDE EVENT on April 27th, 2024  as we walk together (either with me in Boca Raton, FL or in one of the 60 events being held across the country) to bring awareness and funding in order to someday find a cure.

Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers.  When we began the Purple Stride Event 15 years ago, the survival rate was 6%, and today it is 13%.   This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination to keep trying to find a cure.
