WE MISS YOU, TATI

I lost my role model, best friend, and dad after a 4.5-year-long brutal battle with pancreatic cancer. 

Tati was the definition of relentless strength. He endured years of surgeries, chemo, radiation, and what felt like endless hospital stays fearlessly and defied every expectation for someone who was diagnosed at stage 3. 

Throughout his treatment, he remained the same joyful, kind, and sharp man he'd always been. He made time for everyone around him and never wanted his diagnosis to stay the topic of conversation for too long. He cared so deeply about the lives of others and was present for his people at all times, despite his pain. 

My Tati was a titan. Though he was taken away from us too soon, we walk on this day in his memory and in the hopes that some day soon, we will find a cure
