Our team will be striding in PanCAN’s PurpleStride on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Marina Green in San Francisco at 9am.  

PurpleStride is a year-round national movement that funds life-changing programs and services for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. It is returning again in person and taking place at Crissy Field in San Francisco. 

Why do we stride again for the fourth year? Because we want to honor my sister, Kim Luna who passed away January 23, 2023. After being diagnosed in January 2020, enduring 6 months of chemo treatment & 6 weeks of radiation, surgery in December 2020, the cancer returned and metastasized to her lungs & other areas as well. Although another 6 months of chemo was not successful, she never gave up hope and showered us all with her love and positivity. 

Being able to raise funds for an organization who helps so many people on their journey fighting this horrible disease and the loved ones supporting them along the way brought Kim so much joy and purpose.

Every dollar you give means more patients can benefit from PanCAN’s free, one-on-one support, personalized information, service and resources that can make a real difference in their lives. 

Patients and families need us now more than ever.
