Welcome to My PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page

I am walking to honor the life of my mom, Melinda, who passed away due to pancreatic cancer just 7 weeks after getting a diagnosis in June 2023. I want to support patients and families who are forced to deal with this horrible disease.

We’re taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

I have set an ambitious fundraising goal – because the more money we raise, the bigger impact we make. But really I want to just lace up some shoes with you and go for a walk to remember my Mom.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
