Ron Sadtler lost the fight to pancreatic cancer on February 9, 2023. He was a treasured physical educator, avid outdoorsman, and brilliant craftsman who enjoyed learning new hobbies, spending time with his family, spending time in nature, staying active, and pursuing all sorts of creative and functional projects. Anyone who knew him would've described him as a warm, enthusiastic, and compassionate soul, who was always willing to lend a helping hand or listening ear, and was loved dearly by his family and community. Ron brought a special, rare, relentlessly positive energy with him, and lived the saying "Love God, love people, and serve the world." The world is a better place because of Ron Sadtler, and he is dearly missed by all those who were blessed to know him. 

Therefore, we, the family of Ron Sadtler, are taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 27, 2024.
