We gather here with hearts full of love and determination to honor the memory of our beloved Becky Wood, who bravely fought a nine-month battle against pancreatic cancer and passed away on December 6, 2022. Becky was more than a devoted mother; she was a cherished grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, leaving an indelible mark on our lives. Her commitment to walk at least 10,000 steps daily reflected her unwavering spirit, and she often cheerfully reminded us to "Get Your Steps In." It is from this mantra that our team name takes its inspiration. As we stride together in PurpleStride, we carry forward Becky's legacy of resilience, love, and the simple joy of taking each step purposefully. Thank you for joining us on this meaningful journey to raise awareness and funds in the fight against pancreatic cancer. Let's keep walking for Becky and all those affected by this disease.

We're taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, as well as accessible, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services and more. We've set an ambitious fundraising goal – because the more money we raise, the more significant impact we make – and we would be profoundly grateful for your donation. A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.
