"Steve's Team" is back, continuing the fight to raise funds in support of pancreatic cancer  research.  The good news is over the last decade, the five-year survival rate has increased from 4% to 13% (up 1% just in one year!).  This increase is phenomenal, and YOU are part of that success, and I thank you for your caring in our past quests.  This momentum brings hope.  Family and friends have generously walked with us with contributions and prayers, and I am grateful.  

PanCan receives no government funding, and it relies on donors to keep critical programs running.  There is always more work to be done.  I want to continue to bring hope to those facing this difficult cancer.  So, I'm back asking for your support to a cause in which myself and my family so believe.  Local friends, come walk with us!   Love to have you!  Let's work together towards a bold goal of reaching 5 year survival rate of 20% by 2030!

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
