Welcome to the team page in memory of Jill Wilcox.  Jill was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer October 23, 2009 & passed away July 3, 2010. At that time she left behind 3 kids & 7 grandkids, with 3 more grandkids born after this disease took her life.  It is heart breaking to watch a family go through the death of a loved one to cancer.  This cancer in particular has such terrible odds!  We felt defeated from the moment she was diagnosed.  With only a 6% chance at 5 year survival in 2009.  It was devastating!  I am happy to say that since 2009 the odds have been increased to 13%!  Our volunteer efforts are working, but there is more work to be done!  13% is not enough!  It is too late for Jill, but our future generations are counting on us to make a difference!
